It’s been a little while since i signed up for a paid relay and tried curating the relays that I am using, and have been pleasantly surprised with the results.

Its a big ask for newcomers to sign up for what’s basically five bucks a month for quality connections instead of an impenetrable flood of crap with the default relays.

That’s how it goes with traditional social media, though in a different way. There, you pay for the privilege of having your posts seen instead of lost in a rushing river of influencer followers.

I abandoned traditional social media before it got that way, so that’s just what I’ve heard.

Here, you pay not to see the same useless crap and nsfw stuff popping up.

All that said, five bucks a month isn’t too bad, and Nostr doesn’t ask for a retinal scan and a blood sample.

Your identity is still yours, and you get immediate results in your feed.
